If you need to update your AFL passwordâwhether for security reasons or due to a forgotten passwordâfollow the steps below to ensure your account remains protected and accessible.
â When Should You Change Your Password?
- You've forgotten your current password.
- You suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- IT has prompted you to reset your password.
- Itâs been over 90 days since your last change (as per AFL policy).
đ Option 1: Change Your Password (If You Know the Current One)
- Log in to the AFL Portal using your current credentials.
- Click on your profile icon (usually in the top-right corner).
- Select "Account Settings" or "Security Settings."
- Click "Change Password."
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm.
- Click "Save" or "Update Password."
đ Password Requirements
Ensure your new password:
- Is at least 8 characters long.
- Contains a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Is different from your last 5 passwords.
đ Option 2: Reset Forgotten Password
If youâve forgotten your password or canât log in:
- Go to the AFL login page.
- Click on "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your registered AFL email address.
- Check your inbox for a password reset email (look in spam/junk if needed).
- Click the link in the email and follow the steps to create a new password.
